Needham student hacks student information.

NEEDHAM, Mass. — School officials in Needham sent an e-mail to parents this week after a student was able to access the high school’s online student information system and student schedules and classroom rosters.

Best Western databases hacked.

Best Western’s corporate databases were hacked into this week, as much as all of the 2007 customers information, including credit cards, where stolen from the database. The hackers inserted a trojan at a branch hotel and waited for a user of significant privileges to access the corporate servers.
